I earned my physiotherapy degree in Nigeria and practiced extensively in both inpatient and outpatient settings. During this phase, I collaborated closely with various health professionals such as medical specialists, occupational therapists, and nurses in patient-centered treatment environments. My practice encompassed diverse sub-specialties including, but not limited to orthopedics, neurology, cardiorespiratory care, and geriatrics, providing me with valuable experience that fortified my clinical skills.

Seeking further expertise, I relocated to the city of St. John’s, Newfoundland in 2021 to pursue a Master of Science degree in kinesiology at Memorial University of Newfoundland. Here, I worked alongside professors specializing in movement neuroscience and biomechanics, engaging in compelling research in these fields. This period significantly enhanced my understanding of rehabilitation practices.

In my physiotherapy practice, I employ therapeutic exercise, modalities, and manipulative therapy to deliver effective treatment and to prevent re-injury. I strongly believe that a comprehensive grasp of normal body biomechanics is crucial in forming precise clinical assessments and devising appropriate treatment plans for all physiotherapy conditions.

Outside of my clinical work, I have a keen interest in sports including soccer, basketball, tennis, golf, and
volleyball. Additionally, I actively volunteer at various community events and gatherings, viewing this as a meaningful way to contribute to society.
